                       French Apple Bread Pudding

  3                    Eggs
 14      oz            Can condensed milk
  3      md            Apples -- pared, cored,
                       - finely chopped
  1 3/4  c             Water -- hot
    1/4  c             Butter
  1      ts            Ground cinnamon
  1      ts            Vanilla
  4      c             French bread cubes
    1/2  c             Raisins

Preheat oven to 350 F. In large bowl, beat eggs, add milk, apples,
water, butter, cinnamon, and vanilla. Stir in bread and raisins,
moistening completely. Turn into buttered 9" square baking dish. Bake
1 hour or until test shows doness. Cool. Serve warm with ice cream.
Refrigerate leftovers.
