    1/2  cup           butter
  2      cups          sugar
  3      large         eggs -- beaten
  2                    lemons -- juice only


Melt butter and sugar in double boiler.  Add eggs and juice and cook,
stirring
until thickened.  Put in jars and cool.  Keeps for months in fridge.
