     1 oz garlic
   1/2 c  flat-leaf parsley
          kosher salt
          pepper

cream butter in a food processor, until quite smooth
add remaining ingredients and process until well blended form into a
1-inch diameter log
wrap in plastic and chill until firm
cut into 1/4-inch slices
serve slightly chilled
