Buttermilk

Pour into quart jar:
      3 c water at room temperature

add:
      1 1/3 c dry powdered milk

Stir until dissolved. Add:
      1/2 c commercial buttermilk
      dash of salt

Stir until blended. Let stand at room temperature until thickened.
Stir just until blended. Refrigerate. Stir before using. Save 1/2 c
buttermilk to use as base for next batch.
