2 tb Honey
1 tb Olive oil
3/4 ts Ground cinnamon
1/2 ts Ground allspice
1/2 ts Salt
2 c Raw pepitas (from a
- hull-less pumpkin variety,
- such as Kakai)
Total time: 20 minutes
You can easily substitute preroasted pepitas without changing the
baking temperature or time.
Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a 15x10" baking pan with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl stir together honey, olive oil, cinnamon, allspice,
and 1/2 ts salt. Add pepitas; toss to coat. Spread pepitas evenly in
prepared baking pan.
Bake until pepitas are toasted and golden, 10 to 12 minutes, stirring
once halfway through. Cool completely.
