2 c Light brown sugar
1 c Granulated sugar
1 c Sour cream
2 ts Vanilla
1 c Pecans
2 c Walnuts
1 c Unblanched almonds
Combine sugars and sour cream in a large sauce pan. Cook over medium
heat, stirring until sugars melt.
Continue cooking without stirring (it will turn sugar if stirred).
Let it reach 238 degrees on candy thermometer (or until a little
dropped into cold water until makes small ball). Remove from heat.
Stir softly until all meats are covered. Spread on wax paper until
dry. With a fork separate meats.
Makes about 3 pounds.

Notes:
This is a family favorite. Here is a tip: do this on a clear day,
not rainy or muggy day.
I place in a small jar and finish with ribbon. Makes good gifts.
