     Title: Chunky Granola
Categories: Cookies, Snacks
     Yield: 24 servings

          Place in ungreased 9x13"
          -pan:
     6 c  Rolled oats; bake 10 min.
          Remove from oven and stir
          -in:
   1/2 c  Sunflower seeds; or nuts
   1/2 c  Coconut
   1/2 c  Wheat germ
   1/2 c  Nonfat dry milk powder
          Add to dry mixture:
   2/3 c  Honey; *see note
   1/3 c  Oil; cut back from
          -- original recipe
          -- can try even less
   1/3 c  Nonfat milk
     2    Egg whites
     1 ts Vanilla
   1/2 c  Orange marmalade; really
          -need this to
          -- add more flavor

 NOTE: (I only had about 1/3 c. honey on hand so I added
 some light corn syrup.  You could also add maple syrup and get some added
 flavor.)
 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

 Stir until thoroughly coated.  Press mixture firmly into 2 well greased
 10x15 cookie sheets.  (I used 9x13 pans)  Bake 10-15 minutes until nicely
 browned.  Cut immediately into 24 bars.  Remove from pans when cool.

 If I calculated correctly each bar has about 130 calories and 4 grams Fat.
