  2      cups          cooked garbanzo beans -- rinsed and drained
  3      tablespoons   roasted tahini -- (sesame butter)
  2      tablespoons   water -- or as needed
  1      tablespoon    minced garlic
  2      tablespoons   lemon juice -- or to taste
                       Salt and black pepper
                       Cayenne pepper

Lower-Fat Hummus One favorite for flavor is the garbanzo bean.  I like this
hummus as a dip for baby carrots.

In food processor, puree garbanzo beans, tahini, water, garlic and lemon
juice until smooth.  Adjust seasonings as needed.  Refrigerate overnight to
allow flavors to develop.  Stir in salt, black pepper and cayenne to taste.
Makes about 2 cups.
