     Title: Steak Stuffed Jalapenos
Categories: Five, Beef, Chilies
     Yield: 8 servings

     8 lg Jalapenos; washed, halved
          - legthwise; seeds scraped
   1/2 lb Chuck eye steak; in 8 strips
     8 sl Thin cut bacon; cut in half
     3 oz Cream cheese; room temperature,
          - in 8 cubes
          Ground black pepper

 Cut jalapenos lengthwise, use a spoon to clean out seeds.

 Cut steak against the grain ino 8 strips slightly smaller than the
 jalapeno.

 Spoon the cream cheese into the pepper

 Add the un-cooked steak to the pepper and wrap the bacon around the
 jalapeno trying not to overlap the pepper. Secure with a toothpick
 if necessary.

 Add pepper to taste.

 Refrigerate at least 30 minutes.

 Heat grill or skillet to medium heat (300 F/150 C)

 Rotate chilies to cook on all sides until bacon is crisp.

 Serve hot or at room temperature.
