In a large bowl, sift together cake flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix
well with a pastry blender. Cut in shortening until the mixture is as fine as
cornmeal. Put in a large airtight container. Label as Basic Cake Mix and
store in a cool dry place. Use within 10-12 weeks.
Makes 16 cups of mix

NOTES : this is all that I have. There were no instructions on how much cake
mix and how much water eggs, oil etc. but I bet you could figure it out.
