MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Cherry Crunch Dessert

     Yield: 6 Servings

 1 1/2 c  Flour; sifted
   3/4 c  Quick cooking rolled oats
     1 c  Light brown sugar; firmly
          -packed
   1/2 c  Baking soda
   1/2 c  Salt
   1/2 c  Nuts; chopped
   1/2 c  Soft butter
    21 oz Can cherry pie filling

 Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, soda and salt in large bowl. Mix
 well. Add nuts Cut in butter and blend until particles are small and
 uniform. Pat half of crumb mixture into 9x9x2 inch glass baking dish.
 Cover crumb layer evenly with pie filling. Sprinkle remaining crumb
 mixture on top. Bake in microwave about 15 minutes, turn dish every 5
 minutes. Or bake in 350 degrees F oven for 20-25 minutes. Serve
 warm or cold, plain or with whipped cream.
