                         Cheddar Cheese Soup

  4 1/2  c             Potato -- diced
  3      c             Onion -- chopped
  3      c             Water
  6      c             Consomme
    3/4  lb            Cheddar cheese -- grated
  1 1/2  c             Cream

Simmer potato, onion and water  in covered kettle until vegetables
are tender, about 10 minutes. Puree vegetables and blend in consomme,
cheddar cheese and cream. Freeze in suitable portions for your
family. Defrost and heat to serve.

Yield: 12 Servings
