                           Hungarian Goulash

  4      lb            Beef stew meat -- cut in
                       - 2" cubes
  4      tb            Fat
                       Salt, pepper, and paprika --
                       - to taste
  4      cl            Garlic -- minced
  2                    Cans tomato paste
  1      c             Water
  8                    Whole allspice cloves
 12      lg            Potatoes -- peeled and quartered

Brown stew meat in fat. Season with salt, pepper and paprika. Mix
together garlic, tomato paste, water, and cloves. Add to beef.

Simmer covered about 2 hours. Chill quickly and freeze in portions
suitable for your family.

To Serve:

Defrost, adjust seasonings and cook 15 minutes. Add 1 potato per
serving. Simmer an additional 45 minutes, or until tender.
