MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Cracker Jack Caramel Corn

     Yield: 16 Servings

     2 c  Spanish peanuts
     1 c  Margarine
     2 c  Brown sugar
   1/2 c  Dark corn syrup
   1/2 ts Salt
   1/2 ts Baking powder
          Popcorn

 Fill large pan 3/4 full of popcorn. Add peanuts. In a heavy
 saucepan, make syrup out of margarine, sugar, syrup & salt. Boil
 5 minutes; remove from heat and add soda. Pour over popcorn and
 stir. Put in oven at 250 F for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Cool
 and break up into small chunks.
