MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Monte Cristos

     Yield: 4 Servings

   1/4 c  Mayonnaise
     2 ts Thousand Island salad
          - dressing
     1 ts Dijon mustard
     8 sl White bread
   1/4 lb Thin sliced deli turkey
   1/4 lb Thin sliced deli ham
     4 sl Ementhal (Swiss) cheese
     2 lg Eggs; beaten
     1 c  Half & half cream
   1/4 ts Ground mustard
     2 tb Butter
   1/4 c  Strawberry preserves

 In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, salad dressing, and Dijon
 mustard; spread over 1 side of each slice of bread. On 4 slices,
 layer the turkey, ham, and Swiss cheese; top with remaining bread.
 In a shallow bowl, combine the eggs, cream, and ground mustard. Dip
 sandwiches in egg mixture.

 Using a large cast-iron skillet or electric griddle melt butter;
 toast sandwiches over medium heat until bread is golden brown, 2 to
 3 minutes on each side. Serve with preserves.
