MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: French Onion Dip
Categories: Vegetables, Herbs, Dairy
     Yield: 2 1/2 cups

     2 md Onions; chopped
     3 tb Olive oil
     1 ts Sugar
     4 cl Garlic; minced
     2 ts Balsamic vinegar
    16 oz Sour cream
     3 tb Mayonnaise
     2 ts Worcestershire sauce
     1 ts Salt
   1/2 ts Pepper
   1/2 ts Dried rosemary; crushed
   1/4 ts Garlic powder

 In a large skillet, saute onions in oil until softened. Stir in
 sugar. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook for 30-40 minutes or until
 deep golden brown, stirring occasionally. Stir in garlic and
 vinegar. Cook and stir 2 minutes longer.

 In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Stir in onion
 mixture. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
