2 c Broccoli; finely chopped
1/2 c Onion; finely chopped
A few dashes basil
A few dashes thyme
A few dashes black pepper
1/2 ts Salt
2 tb Butter
3/4 c Cheese; grated, (your
-favorite)
Saute broccoli, onion, and salt in butter until broccoli is bright
green. Add herbs.
Spread onto toasted bread, top with cheese.
For an open-faced sandwich, broil. For a closed sandwich with two
pieces of bread, grill them in butter in a frying pan.
Assemble the sandwiches right before serving. Garnish lavishly with
fruit slices and vegetable sticks.
