Variety 1:
Mash cream cheese with banana, citrus juice, raisins, and nuts. This
will fill about four sandwiches. Inset optional ingredients as
desired.
Variety 2:
If you are less inclined to decadence, try jazzing up your usual egg
salad by adding in the ingredients from group (a), (b), or (c).
Variety 3:
On the other hand, if you are only moderately inclined to decadence,
take the best peanut butter in the world and augment it with toasted
sesame seeds and honey. Mix it all up. If you pack a lunch, try
inserting some green seedless grapes into your sandwich. You will
forget you put them there, and at lunchtime you'll get a pleasant
surprise to cheer you up.
Variety 4:
Back to the cream cheese, try mashing it with your favorite herbs.
Place very thin slices of crunchy vegetables on spread filling. Fresh
spinach too, plus tomato, plus alfalfa sprouts.
