MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Balsamic Beef Hoagies

     Yield: 8 Servings

     1 c  Beef broth
   1/2 c  Balsamic vinegar
     2 tb Brown sugar
     2 tb Worcestershire sauce
     4 cl Garlic; minced
     2 lb Boneless chuck roast

   1/2 c  Mayonnaise
     8    Hoagie buns; split, toasted
     4 md Tomatoes; sliced
   1/2 c  Fresh basil; thin sliced

 In a small bowl, mix the first 5 ingredients. Place roast in a 4 or
 5 qt slow cooker. Pour broth mixture over top. Cook, covered, on
 low until meat is tender, 5 to 6 hours.

 Remove roast; shred beef with 2 forks. Skim fat from cooking
 juices. Return beef and cooking juices to slow cooker; heat
 through.

 Spread mayonnaise on buns. Using tongs, place beef on buns; top
 with tomatoes and basil.
