4 c Dry macaroni noodles
1 c Onions; chopped
1 c Mushrooms; chopped
1 c Yogurt or milk
1/2 c Sunflower seeds
1 c Cottage cheese
1 c Sharp cheddar cheese
1 c Wheat germ or shredded wheat
1/4 c Parsley
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Pepper
1 ts Garlic
Cook macaroni in a large pot with boiling water (3 times the volume
of the pasta being cooked) 8 to 10 minutes. Drain the noodles and
transfer them to set in a separate bowl while you...
Saute the onions, mushrooms, sunflower seeds, and spices in oil. In
the same pot you used to cook the noodles, add yogurt, cottage cheese
to the vegetables, stir and simmer.
Mix macaroni noodles and vegetables and add shredded cheese, simmer
mixture until cheese melts.
