                             Baked Lasagne

  2      lb            Ground beef
  1                    Onion -- chopped
  2      c             Tomato paste
  1      c             Tomato sauce -- small
 12                    Lasagne noodles
  2      c             Whole tomatos -- chop
  1 1/2  tb            Oregano
  1 1/2  tb            Italian seasoning
  2      tb            Sugar
  1      cl            Garlic -- minced (1/8 ts)
    1/3  c             Parnesan cheese -- grated
    3/4  lb            Ricotta cheese
  1      lb            Mozzarella cheese
  1      c             Tomato juice

Brown meat with onion. Drain. Add tomato sauce, paste, and whole
tomatoes, along with oregano, Italian seasoning, minced garlic,
sugar, salt, pepper to taste, and parmesan. Simmer for 1 hour.
Place 3 cooked lasagne noodles on bottom of low baking dish. Over
this layer, spread sauce to cover the noodles. Spread ricotta
cheese, parmesan cheese, and mozzarella. Layer more noodles, more
sauce, and the 3 cheeses. When all ingredients have been layered,
add tomato juice to liquify. Bake at 350 F for 45 minutes.
