MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Student's Prawn & Coconut Laksa

     Yield: 1 Serving

     2 ts Oil
     1 cl Garlic; crushed
     1    Spring onion; fine chopped
     2 ts Fresh ginger; fine chopped
     1    Green chile;
          - seeded, fine chopped
   1/2    Lime; juice of
   100 g  Raw prawns (4 oz)
   165 ml Can coconut milk (11 tb)
   100 ml Chicken stock (6-1/2 tb)
   100 g  Dried egg noodles (4 oz)
          Cilantro;
          - chopped, for garnish

 Heat the oil in a large pan or wok. When hot, throw in the garlic,
 spring onion, ginger, and green chilli. Cook on a medium heat for 3
 to 4 minutes, then squeeze in your lime juice.

 Stir in the prawns, then add in the coconut milk and stock. Simmer
 gently for 5 minutes on a low heat until the prawns are pink.

 Meanwhile, cook your egg noodles in a pan of boiling water for
 4 minutes until soft. Drain, then tip into the laksa pan. Season to
 taste, then serve in a bowl, topped with coriander.
