                      OVEN-BAKED BATTERED SCALLOPS

    1/2   c            Buttermilk
  1                    Garlic clove
                       Vegetable spray
  1       lb           Sea scallops
    1/2   c            Bread crumbs
                       Paprika

 Mince garlic to equal 1/2 teaspoon. Preheat oven to
 500 F. Soak scallops in mixture of buttermilk and
 garlic. Spray baking sheet with nonstick vegetable
 spray. Drain scallops, roll in bread crumbs, place on
 baking sheet. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake 8 to 10
 minutes until opaque throughout. Sprinkle with parsley.

 Per serving: 165 calories, 2 g fat (11%), 39 mg
 cholesterol, 22 g protein,
 :            39 mg cholesterol, 13 mg carbohydrate,
 308 mg sodium.
