MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Aussie Sausage Rolls

     Yield: 36 Rolls

     1 md Onion; finely chopped
     2 tb Fresh chives; minced -OR-
     2 ts Dried chives
     2 ts Fresh basil; minced -OR-
   1/2 ts Dried basil
     2 cl Garlic; minced
   1/2 ts Salt
   1/4 ts Pepper
     1 ts Paprika; divided
 1 1/4 lb Bulk pork sausage
17 1/3 oz Frozen puff pastry;
          - thawed

 Set oven @ 350 F/175 C.

 Combine first 6 ingredients and 3/4 ts paprika. Add sausage; mix
 lightly but thoroughly.

 On a lightly floured surface, roll each pastry sheet into an
 11x10-1/2" rectangle. Cut each lengthwise into 3 strips. Spread
 1/2 cup sausage mixture lengthwise down the center of each strip.
 Fold sides over filling, pinching edges to seal. Cut each log into
 6 pieces.

 Place on a rack in a 15x10x1" pan, seam side down. Sprinkle with
 remaining 1/4 ts paprika. Bake until golden brown and sausage is no
 longer pink, 20 to 25 minutes.
