MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Baked Cornbread Dogs
Categories: Sausage, Quickbreads, Corn
     Yield: 8 Servings

     8    Frankfurters
     1 c  Corn meal
     1 c  Bread flour
     2 tb Sugar
 1 1/2 ts Salt
   1/2 ts Soda
     1 ts Baking powder
 1 1/4 c  Sour milk or buttermilk
     2 tb Fat; melted
     2    Eggs; beaten

 Oven at 425 F.

 Grease an 8x10" pan and place in the oven.

 Cook the franks until nearly done. Put them in the oven pan.

 Sift the next 6 ingredients in a bowl.

 Beat the remaining ingredients in a separate bowl.

 Mix the dry and wet ingredients and pour the batter over the franks
 in the pan. Return to the oven and bake 20 minutes or until
 cornbread is done.
