                             Paprika Chops

  4                    Lamb or pork chops
  1                    Green bell pepper -- Sliced
  2                    Potatoes -- sliced
                       Paprika
                       Sour cream
  1                    Onion -- sliced into rings
                       Mushrooms -- sliced
  1      cl            Garlic -- finely chopped
                       Ground black pepper

Mix plenty of paprika with some freshly ground black pepper in a
dish. Wash and dry chops. Coat chops with the paprika mix.

Lightly oil baking tray (9x13" pan). Layer onions, pepper, and potato
slices and mushrooms in tray and sprinke with chopped garlic.

Put paprika coated chops on top of potatoes. Put tray into oven for
about 15 minutes, then turn chops and cook for another 15 minutes.

Dollop some sour cream on top of chops and return to oven for another
10 minutes. Serve with your favourite vegetables. We used cauliflower
and made a white sauce
