MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Chicken Amandine

     Yield: 8 Servings

   1/4 c  Onion; chopped
     1 tb Butter
     6 oz Box long grain & wild rice
 2 1/4 c  Chicken broth
     3 c  Chicken; cooked, diced
     2 c  French-style green beans;
          - thawed
10 3/4 oz Can cream of chicken soup;
          - undiluted
   3/4 c  Sliced almonds; divided
     4 oz Jar diced pimientos;
          - drained
     1 ts Pepper
   1/2 ts Garlic powder
     1 sl Bacon; cooked, crumbled

 In a large saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender. Add rice
 with contents of seasoning packet and broth. Bring to a boil.
 Reduce heat; cover and simmer until liquid is absorbed, about
 25 minutes. Uncover; set aside to cool.

 In a large bowl, combine chicken, green beans, soup, 1/2 cup
 almonds, pimientos, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir in rice.

 Transfer to a greased 2-1/2 qt baking dish. Sprinkle with bacon and
 remaining 1/4 cup almonds. Cover and bake @ 350 F/175 C until
 heated through, 30 to 35 minutes.
