  2       lb           Pieces  chicken
  1       c            Sliced  onion
    1/2   c            Chopped green pepper
    1/4   c            Peanut oil
  1       ea           Medium clove   garlic
  1       cn           1-lb can plum tomatos
  1       T            Chopped parsley
    1/2   t            Crushed oregano
    1/4   t            Thyme
    3/4   t            Salt
  1       d            Pepper
    1/4   lb           Sliced  mushroom

 Heat oil in large skillet.  Add chicken pieces, brown and set aside.
 Add onion,green pepper and garlic; Cook until onion is tender. Force
 Italian plum tomatoes through a strainer. Add tomato liquid,parsley,
 oregano, thyme, salt and pepper to skillet. Cook over low heat for 15
 minutes; stir occasionally.
 Add chicken; cover and cook over low heat 45 minutes.  Stir
 occasionally. Add mushrooms.  Cook uncovered 15 minutes or until sauce
 is desired consistency.
