MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Sunday Chicken Supper

     Yield: 6 servings

     4 md Carrots; in 2" pieces
     1 md Onion; chopped
     1    Celery rib; in 2" pieces
     2 c  Cut fresh green beans in 2"
          - lengths
   1/2 lb Small red potatoes;
          - quartered
     4 sl Bacon; cooked, crumbled
 3 1/2    Fryer chicken; cut up
     2 ts Chicken bouillon granules
     1 ts Salt
   1/2 ts Dried thyme
   1/2 ts Dried basil
       pn Pepper
 1 1/2 c  Water

 In the order listed, layer first seven ingredients in a
 5 qt. slow cooker. Sprinkle with bouillon and
 seasonings. Pour water over top. Do not stir.

 Cook, covered, until chicken and vegetables are tender,
 6-8 hours. Remove chicken and vegetables to a platter.
 If desired, skim fat from cooking juices and thicken for
 gravy.
