MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Smothered Chicken
Categories: Poultry, Vegetabels, Pork, Mushrooms, Cheese
     Yield: 4 servings

     4    (5 oz ea) boned, skinned
          - chicken breast halves or
          - thighs
   1/4 ts Seasoned salt
   1/4 ts Garlic powder
     3 ts Oil; divided
     1 c  Sliced fresh mushrooms
     1 c  Shredded Mexican cheese
          - blend
     4    Green onions; chopped
     6 sl Bacon; cooked, chopped

 Pound chicken to 1/4" thickness. Sprinkle with
 seasonings.

 In a large nonstick skillet, heat 1 teaspoon oil over
 medium-high heat; saute mushrooms until tender, 2-3
 minutes. Remove from pan.

 In same pan, cook chicken in remaining oil until bottoms
 are browned, about 4 minutes. Turn chicken; top with
 mushrooms and remaining ingredients. Cook, covered,
 until chicken is no longer pink, 4-5 minutes.
