MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05

     Title: Spareribs in Black Bean Sauce
Categories: Main dish, Pork
     Yield: 3 Servings

     1 lb Pork spareribs; patted dry
     1 tb Corn starch
     1 tb Fermented black beans
     2 tb Vegetable oil
     3 cl Garlic; minced
     1 ts Chicken bouillon powder
     1 ts Salt
     1 ts Sugar
     1 ts Sesame oil

 Cut spareribs with cleaver or butcher's knife into bite-size pieces;
 toss with corn starch in large bowl. Rinse black beans; drain.
 Coarsely chop.

 Heat vegetable oil in small skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic;
 cook, stirring frequently, until golden, about 5 minutes.

 Add black beans, garlic, bouillon powder, salt, sugar, and sesame
 oil to bowl with spareribs; toss to coat. Marinate 20 minutes.

 Place ribs on steamer tray over boiling water. Cover; steam until
 cooked through, about 15 minutes.
