                           Gourmet Pork Chops

  8                    Center Cut Pork Chops
    1/4  Cup           Butter
                       Salt
                       Pepper
                       Garlic Powder
                       Paprika
  2      Cups          Sliced Fresh Mushrooms
  1      Envelope      Dry Onion Soup Mix
  1      Cup           Dry White Wine
  1      Cup           Chicken Broth
  2      Teaspoons     Bottled Garlic Spread
  1      Cup           Sour Cream

Brown pork chops in butter.  Season with spices.  Remove from skillet.

Add mushrooms to drippings and saute.  Mix in remaining ingredients except
sour cream; stir until well blended.  Return pork chops to skillet.

Cover and simmer 1 hour until done.  Add sour cream and heat through; do not
boil.

Serve immediately.
