MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Five-Spice Glazed Smoked Chops
Categories: Pork, Fruits, Herbs, Chilies
     Yield: 4 servings

   1/4 c  Unsweetened apple juice
   1/4 c  Grape jelly
     2 tb Cider vinegar
   1/2 ts Chinese 5-spice powder
   1/2 ts Fresh gingerroot; minced
   1/4 ts Crushed red pepper flakes
     1 tb Butter
     4    Smoked bone-in pork chops
          - (7-1/2 oz ea)

 Place the first 6 ingredients in a small saucepan; bring just to a
 boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.

 In a 12" skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat. Add pork
 chops; cook until bottoms are browned, 4-5 minutes. Turn chops;
 spoon glaze over top. Cook, uncovered, until chops are glazed and
 heated through, 3-4 minutes.
