Title: Simple Sweet 'n' Tangy Pork Chops

Yield: 2 servings
2 Bone-in pork loin chops
1/8 ts Pepper
1 md Onion; chopped
1 Celery rib; chopped
1 md Bell pepper; sliced
1/2 cn Stewed tomatoes; scant cup
1/4 c Ketchup
1 tb Cider vinegar
1 tb Brown sugar
1 tb Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tb Lemon juice
1/2 ts Beef bouillon granules
1 1/2 tb Corn starch
1 tb Water: cold
Hot cooked rice or mashed
- potatoes (optional)
Place chops in a 3 qt slow cooker; sprinkle with pepper. Add the
onions, celery, green pepper, and tomatoes. Combine the ketchup,
vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and beef
bouillon; pour over vegetables. Cover and cook on low 5-6 hours or
until meat is tender.
Mix corn starch and water until smooth; stir into liquid in slow
cooker. Cover and cook on high about 30 minutes longer or until
thickened. If desired, serve with rice or mashed potatoes.
