1 lb Ground beef
1/2 c Onion -- chopped
16 oz Can stewed tomatoes
1 lg Green pepper -- chopped
1/2 c Long-grain rice -- uncooked
1/2 c Water
2 ts Worcestershire sauce
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
1 c Cheddar cheese -- shredded
In a skillet, brown beef; drain. Transfer to a greased 2 qt casserole
dish. Add the next 8 ingredients. Cover and bake at 350 F for 1 hour
or until rice is tender. Uncover and sprinkle with the cheese; return
to the oven until cheese melts, about 5 minutes.
