MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: After Work Pepper Steak

     Yield: 4 servings

   1/2 c  Beef broth
     3 tb Soy sauce
     1 tb Cornstarch
     1 ts Ground ginger
     2 tb Oil
 1 1/2 lb Round steak; in thin strips
     1 lg Bell pepper; any colour, in
          - thin strips
     4 oz Fresh sliced mushrooms
     3    Scallions; sliced
     1 cl Garlic; minced

 In a small bowl, combine broth, soy sauce, cornstarch,
 and ginger; mix well and set aside.

 In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil;
 saute beef 2 to 3 minutes, or until browned. Add
 peppers, mushrooms, scallions, and garlic and cook 4 to
 5 more minutes, or until vegetables are tender.

 Add broth mixture to skillet and cook 2 to 3 more
 minutes, or until sauce thickens. Serve immediately.
