1 1/2 lb Ground chuck
4 sl Stale bread -- diced
1/4 c Lemon juice
1/4 c Onion -- minced
1 Egg -- slightly beaten
2 ts Seasoned salt
1/2 c Catsup
1/3 c Brown sugar
1 ts Dry mustard
1/4 ts Allspice
1/4 ts Ground cloves
6 sl Lemon; thin
Preheat oven to 350 F. In large bowl, combine ground chuck, bread,
lemon juice, onion, egg, and salt. Mix well and shape into 6
individual loaves; place in greased 9x13" baking pan. Bake
15 minutes.
In small bowl, combine remaining ingredients except lemon slices.
Cover loaves with sauce and top each with a lemon slice; bake
30 minutes longer, basting occasionally with sauce from pan. Serve
sauce over loaves.
