MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Spinach Pie
Categories: Dinner, Pies
     Yield: 4 Servings

MMMMM---------------------------CRUST--------------------------------
   1/3 c  Whole wheat flour
   1/3 c  Wheat germ
   1/3 c  Sunflower or sesame seeds
   1/4 c  Butter
     1 pn Salt
   1/3 c  Cheddar cheese; grated

MMMMM--------------------------FILLING-------------------------------
     2 lb Fresh spinach
   1/2 c  Parsley; finely chopped
   1/4 c  Butter; for sauteing
     1 c  Cheddar cheese; grated

 Crust: Combine all ingredients together and rub in the butter with
 your fingertips to make a fine, crumbly mixture. Set it aside.

 Pie:

 Saute the spinach and parsley in butter until cooked--5 to 6 minutes
 will be long enough. Arrange half the spinach in a pie ish and cover
 with the grated cheese. Then another layer of spinach, and finally
 the crumble crust. Bake pie in a moderate 350 F oven until the top
 is golden.
