MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: BLT Brunch Pie

     Yield: 8 Servings

 1 1/4 c  A-P flour
     2 ts Baking powder
   1/2 ts Salt
   1/2 ts Dried basil
   1/2 c  Shortening
   1/2 c  Sour cream

MMMMM--------------------------FILLING-------------------------------
   3/4 c  Mayonnaise
     1 c  Cheddar cheese; shredded
 4 1/2 oz Can mushroom stems & pieces;
          - drained
     8 sl Bacon; cooked, crumbled
     1 tb Bell pepper; chopped
     1 tb Onion; chopped
     3 md Tomatoes; peeled, sliced

 In a large bowl, combine the first 4 ingredients. Cut in shortening
 until crumbly. Stir in sour cream. Cover and refrigerate for
 30 minutes.

 Press dough into a 9" pie plate; flute edges if desired. Bake @
 375 F/190 C for 10 minutes. Cool completely.

 In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, mushrooms,
 bacon, green pepper, and onion. Layer half the tomatoes in crust;
 top with half of the mayonnaise mixture. Repeat layers.

 Bake @ 350 F/175 C until a knife inserted in the center comes out
 clean, 30 to 35 minutes. Refrigerate leftovers.
