3 lb Boneless beef chuck --
- cut in 1" pieces
1/2 c Flour
1 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
8 oz Precooked sausage links --
- cut in 1" pieces
2 c Leeks -- chopped
4 Celery ribs -- cut up
3 Potatoes -- peeled and cubed
16 oz Can whole tomatoes
1 ts Leaf oregano
2 cl Garlic -- minced
1/2 c Beef broth
1 ts Kitchen Bouquet
2 tb Flour
3 tb Water
Wipe beef well. Combine 1/3 cup flour with salt and pepper. Toss beef
cubes with flour mixture to coat thoroughly; place in Crock-Pot. Add
remaining ingredients, except 2 tb flour and the water, in order
listed; stir well. Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 12 hours or on High
for 4 to 6 hours.
One hour before serving, turn to High setting. Make a smooth paste of
2 tb flour and the water; stir into Crock-Pot, mixing well. Cover and
cook until thickened.
