                   Slow Cooker Spicy Pork and Cabbage

  4                    Pork loin chops -- up to 6,
                       - trimmed, 1" thick
                       Salt and pepper
                       Kitchen Bouquet
  4      c             Cabbage -- coarsely shredded
  3                    Tart apples -- up to 4,
                       - cored and diced
    1/2  sm            Onion -- chopped
  2                    Cloves
    1/2  sm            Bay leaf
  1 3/8  c             Sugar
  1      c             Water
  2      tb            Cider vinegar
  2      ts            Salt

Season pork chops lightly with salt and pepper and brush with kitchen
bouquet; set aside. Place cabbage, apples and onion in Crock-Pot. Add
remaining ingredients except pork chops. Toss together well to evenly
distribute spices. Arrange chops on top of cabbage mixture, stacking
to fit. Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours or on High for 4 to
5 hours.
