                   Slow Cooker Ham and Cheese Supper

  2      c             Ground cooked ham (1/2 lb)
    1/2  c             Cheese crackers --
                       - finely crushed
  1                    Egg
    1/3  c             Barbecue sauce
  4      lg            Potatoes -- peeled,
                       - thinly sliced
  1      md            Onion -- thinly sliced
  2      tb            Butter
  2      tb            Vegetable oil
    2/3  c             Evaporated milk
  1      c             Mozzarella cheese -- shredded
  1      ts            Salt
    1/4  ts            Paprika
    1/8  ts            Pepper

Combine ground ham, crushed crackers, egg, and barbecue sauce and
shape into 6 patties. In a skillet, saute potato and onion slices in
butter and oil over medium heat, turning frequently to prevent
browning. Drain and place in Crock-Pot.

Combine milk, cheese, and seasonings and pour over potatoes and
onions. Layer ham patties on top. Cover and cook on Low for 3 to
5 hours.
