Title: Slow Cooker Jerked Short Ribs

Yield: 10 servings
1 tb Ground coriander
2 ts Ground ginger
2 ts Onion powder
2 ts Garlic powder
1 ts Salt
1 ts Pepper
1 ts Dried thyme
3/4 ts Ground allspice
3/4 ts Ground nutmeg
1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
5 lb Bone-in beef short ribs
1 lg Sweet onion; chopped
1/2 c Beef broth
10 oz Jar apricot preserves
3 tb Cider vinegar
3 cl Garlic; minced
Combine first 10 ingredients, reserving 2 tb. Rub remaining
seasoning mixture over ribs. Place onion and broth in a 6 qt slow
cooker; cover with ribs. Cook, covered, on low until ribs are
tender, 6-8 hours.
Meanwhile, combine preserves, vinegar, garlic, and reserved
seasoning mixture. Serve with ribs.
