MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Slow-Cooker Corned Beef & Cabbage
Categories: Beef, Vegetables, Potatoes
     Yield: 8 servings

     1 md Onion; in wedges
     4 lg Red potatoes; quartered
     1 lb Baby carrots
     3 c  Water
     3 cl Garlic; minced
     1    Bay leaf
     2 tb Sugar
     2 tb Cider vinegar
   1/2 ts Pepper
     3 lb Corned beef brisket; with
          - 1/2 spice packet
     1 sm Head cabbage; in wedges

 Place the onion, potatoes and carrots in a 6 to 7 qt
 slow cooker. Combine the water, garlic, bay leaf, sugar,
 vinegar, pepper and contents of spice packet; pour over
 vegetables. Top with brisket and cabbage.

 Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours or until meat and
 vegetables are tender. Discard bay leaf before serving.
