MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Slow-Cooker Chicken Parmesan

     Yield: 4 servings

   1/2 c  Seasoned bread crumbs
   1/2 c  Grated Parmesan cheese
   1/2 ts Italian seasoning
   1/2 ts Pepper
   1/4 ts Salt
     1 lg Egg; lightly beaten
     1 tb Water
     4    (6 oz ea) boned, skinned
          - chicken breast halves or
          - thighs
    24 oz Jar marinara sauce
     4 sl Mozzarella cheese
          Hot cooked pasta (optional)

 In a shallow bowl, combine bread crumbs, Parmesan
 cheese, Italian seasoning, pepper and salt. In another
 bowl, combine egg and water. Dip chicken in egg mixture,
 then in crumb mixture to coat both sides, patting to
 help coating adhere.

 Transfer chicken to a 4 or 5 qt. slow cooker. Pour sauce
 over chicken. Cook, covered, on low for 4-6 hours. Top
 with cheese, recover, and cook for 10-15 minutes, until
 cheese is melted.

 If desired, serve with hot cooked pasta.
