MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Slow Cooker Comfort Soup
Categories: Grains, Beans, Vegetables, Greens, Herbs
     Yield: 8 servings

     1 c  Uncooked quinoa
    29 oz (2 cans) diced tomatoes;
          - undrained
    30 oz (2 cans) Great Northern
          - beans; drained, rinsed
   1/2 c  Diced onion
     4 cl Garlic; minced
   1/2 ts Dried oregano
   1/2 ts Dried basil
   1/4 ts Dried thyme
     2    Bay leaves
     3 c  Water
     4 c  Vegetable broth
   1/2 ts Salt
   1/4 ts Black pepper
   1/2 lb Kale; coarse chopped

 In a 6 quart or larger slow cooker, combine all
 ingredients except kale.

 Cover and cook on LOW 7 to 8 hours or on HIGH 3 to 4
 hours.

 Right before serving, stir in kale and cook 5 minutes or
 until wilted. Serve immediately.
