2 tb Butter
3 md Sweet onions
8 oz Fresh mushrooms
1 c Swiss cheese; shredded
1 cn Cream of mushroom soup
1 cn Evaporated milk
2 ts Soy sauce
8 sl Swiss cheese; thin sliced
8 sl French bread
In large skillet melt butter and saute onions and mushrooms in
butter. Place onions and mushrooms in 2 qt casserole dish. Sprinkle
with shredded cheese. Combine soup, soy sauce evaporated milk and
pour over cheese. Layer bread on top of that and top with slices of
cheese. Cover and refrigerate 4 hours. Bake for 30 minutes
uncovered for 20 minutes. May substitute your favorite cheese.
