1/2 lb Smoked sausage
2 md Granny Smith apples
1/4 c Onion; chopped
15 1/2 oz Great Northern beans;
-rinsed and drained
1/3 c Ketchup
1/4 c Maple-flavored syrup
1 ts Prepared mustard
1 ds Ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 F. Cut sausage into 1/2 inch thick slices;
cut slices crosswise in half. Core and slice apples using apple
peeler/corer/slicer; cut slices crosswise in half. Chop onion
using food chopper. In classic 2 qt batter bowl, combine sausage,
apples, onion and beans. In 1 qt batter bowl, whisk ketchup,
syrup, mustard and cinnamon with 10" Whisk. Pour over sausage
mixture; toss to coat. Spoon mixture into 8" mini-baker (dish will
be very full); cover with mini-baking bowl. Bake 40 minutes; stir
before serving.
