                            Buffet Bean Bake

  6      sl            Bacon
  1      c             Brown sugar -- packed
    1/2  c             Vinegar
    1/2  ts            Salt
  1      tb            Mustard or Durkee Famous Sauce
 16      oz            Can butter beans -- drained
 16      oz            Can French-style green beans --
                       - drained
 16      oz            Can pork & beans -- drained
 16      oz            Can lima beans -- drained
 15 1/2  oz            Can yellow wax beans -- drained
 15      oz            Can kidney beans -- drained
  2 4/5  oz            Durkee French Fried onions

Preheat oven to 350 F. In medium skillet, fry bacon until crisp.
Remove from skillet; crumble and set aside. Drain all but about 2 tb
drippings from skillet; add sugar, vinegar, salt, and mustard.
Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.

In large bowl, combine drained beans, 1/2 can onions and hot sugar
mixture. Spoon bean mixture into 9x13" baking dish. Bake, covered, at
350 F for 30 minutes or until heated through. Top with crumbled bacon
and remaining onions; bake, uncovered, 5 minutes or until onions are
golden brown.

Yield: 12 Servings
