     Title: Chilli Cheese Dog Casserole

     Yield: 6 Servings

 8 1/2 oz Box cornbread/muffin mix
     1 tb Olive oil
     1 c  Green pepper; chopped
   1/2 c  Onion; chopped
   1/2 c  Celery; chopped
     1 lb Pkg hot dogs; halved
          - lengthwise, cut in
          - bite-sized pieces
    15 oz Can chilli with beans
     2 tb Brown sugar
   1/2 ts Garlic powder
   1/2 ts Chilli spice mix
     1 c  Cheddar cheese; shredded,
          - divided

 Set oven @ 350 F/175 C.

 Prepare cornbread batter according to package

 directions. Spread half the batter into a greased 8" square baking
 dish.

 In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat; add green pepper,
 onion, and celery. Cook and stir until crisp-tender, 5 to
 7 minutes. Stir in hot dogs; cook and stir until lightly browned,
 3 to 4 minutes longer. Stir in chilli, brown sugar, garlic powder,
 and chilli spice; heat through. Stir in 3/4 cup cheese.

 Spoon hot dog mixture over cornbread batter; top with remaining
 batter. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup cheese.

 Bake, uncovered, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out
 clean, 28 to 32 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
